NBJF 2008 proudly presents “Lipstick Jungle” themesters and critical darling Bitter:Sweet along with soundscape creators The Frequency at Great American Music Hall in an all-ages show. On the same night, ALO guitarist Dan Lebowitz Group and Stephane Wrembel Trio appear at Mojito. LEBO (DAN LEBOWITZ GROUP) (San Francisco): From guitar solos that sweep the gamut of his instrument's range without sacrificing its natural expressiveness, to rhythmic riffs that chank along with the steadiness of a jackhammer, Lebowitz's playing is as notable for its variety as its laid-back execution. When Dan’s not busy with San Francisco's beloved funk-rock outfit ALO, he can be seen performing with numerous groups as both a guitarist and a percussionist.
